Fansub Under Way.

Hey followers,

I won't say who yet, but an excellent team has picked up the project and is using the script I developed for Heidi.

All 52 episodes are transcribed and now the subbing (and all that comes with it) has begun.

Will keep you all up to date and thanks again for the support.

WE ARE UP TO EPISODE 30!

Hey gang. I have not began the actual subtitle encoding yet, however, I have the script for up to episode 30 done as of Monday this week. I have only received one donation as of yet, and I hope to receive more. It is such a small suggested donation, yet you get such a worthy item. Think about it.

This is a very expensive project, so please consider helping me out since this is a somewhat thankless effort on my part despite hours of money and time I am pouring into this on the behalf of the anime community.

How to get your own copy and help with the translation!

Hello Heidi Fans,

I am actually paying a translator for completion of this project. You will not believe how hard it is to find a volunteer translator.

Here's the deal, I am going to put a paypal link on this site in which you can donate towards the total cost of the translation. I will cover almost all of the cost, but it is a few hundred dollars total for the project (which is a reduced rate). So if anyone could possibly help me out, I would appreciate it.

(Again, as of 7/6/10 we are up to episode 10 in translation.)

To further explain, all donations are welcome and encouraged, but for anyone who is willing to donate $10 or more, I will mail out a copy of the series to you on dvds as a thank you. That is 52 episodes of a classic series for only $20 + plus you are helping me complete it.

The dvds will be data dvds as it would be too expensive to put all 52 episodes on playable dvds.

Lastly, I just want to say thank you to anyone who has been of help to me as well as thank the great people at http://raiden-rs.blogspot.com/ for helping direct people to this blog for their donations and participation in this great project.

English Subs Finally in Progress.

Hello Heidi Fans,

I am finally making some progress on Alps No Shoujo Heidi english subtitles. I am working with a translator as we speak and I will be doing the subtitling and timing for the episodes. I will be up to episode 10 this week, so yay for that.

I will be making an announcement about how you can get your hands on a copy of the complete series of Heidi in the original Japanese with English Subs.

ALPS NO SHOUJO HEIDI ENGLISH SUBS PROJECT

Hello All,

I created this blog to make sure people could find me on the internet instead of simply running across my postings online.

I am determined to make a english subtitled soft-sub version of Alps No Shoujo Heidi.

What I need from anyone reading this is to be sent through a file sharing service the Japanese RAW version of this series. Anyone out there who has it, please send it to me or create links for me to download it from.

All the torrents I have found for this are dead or "sick" no seeders/leechers.

As soon as I get those, I will get to work on this fansub project and get it out to you all.
